Section 6: Do I Have Enough Free Time?

Online learning requires time! A typical semester based online class requires about 10 hours per week. If your class is accelerated (5-8 weeks rather than a full semester), you'll need to devote even more time, and usually log in on a daily basis.
Online courses compete for time with friends, family and your work commitments along with household chores, leisure and sleep. Use this calculator to estimate the amount of time you have available for study on top of an already busy life.
